Why response time matters

Damage beyond what is visible

Water goes where gravity and capillary action take it, which is almost never where it is visible. It runs along the top of a joist, down inside a wall cavity, under a floating floor and out into the room next door. By the time a stain appears on a ceiling the material above it has usually been wet for a while.

That is why we lead with measurement rather than with a mop. Thermal imaging shows where a surface is cooler because water is evaporating out of it, and a moisture meter turns that into an actual number. We take a reading on unaffected material of the same type elsewhere in the house, and that becomes the target the affected material has to reach before the equipment comes out.

How we approach a Lexington property

Construction era changes the method, not the outcome

Lexington covers a wide range of construction eras, and each one holds water differently. Original cast iron and galvanised supply runs, basements finished long after they were built, crawlspaces under post-war ranches, and additions where two roof planes meet all fail in their own way and dry at their own pace.

That is why we measure rather than assume. Moisture meters and thermal imaging map where the water actually travelled before any equipment is placed, and the readings are taken again each day until the materials reach a dry standard rather than until they look dry.

Our technicians are IICRC certified, which is the body that sets those drying and remediation standards, and we are an EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm, which matters on any property built before 1978. Whichever kind of building you have, the same certified crew and the same documentation go with it.

What happens

From your call to a dry building

01

You call and a person answers

Not a service that takes a message. We ask what happened, where the water is, and whether the power is safe, and we tell you what to do before we arrive.

02

We aim to be there within the hour

That is our goal, not a guarantee. Traffic on Nicholasville Road at five o'clock is not something anyone can promise around, and neither is the morning after a storm.

03

Find the water, then stop it

Source first, then a full moisture map of what it reached. This is where most of the difference between a good job and a callback is made.

04

Extract, then dry to a number

Bulk water out mechanically, then air movers and LGR dehumidifiers. Readings are logged daily and the equipment stays until they agree with the target.

05

Documented for your carrier

Photographs, moisture logs and a line-item estimate in the format adjusters expect. We bill your insurer directly.

When my basement flooded, All Dry Services answered my call that late evening and arrived the very next morning to conduct assessment and water remediation. They provided prompt, professional service and their technical expertise was excellent. I highly recommend anyone who goes through a natural disaster in Kentucky to give them a call.
